march.

well its march. not much is happening. :) i went to my friend L's baby shower yesterday. she's 34 weeks and just about DONE. she had her first son at 36 weeks and her doctors think she may only make it that far again... and i think she's okay with that! :)

today we are having my grandmothers birthday party - she turned 75 on friday! and this is, of course, my other grandmother. grandma ellie's memorial service was on wednesday, and really... it wasnt as hard as i was thinking it might be. everyone got to tell stories about her and it was more "happy" than sad. she lived in an apartment with the surrounding apartment occupied by gay guys... and she loved them like the sons she never had. they came to her service and shared storied that we had never heard! so that was nice :) who knew she had a standing order for a carne asada burrito any time robert went to the taco shop?? :)

caleb is 100% mobile now. he's crawling ALL OVER the place, which makes things a little more difficult. i went to the bathroom last night and he followed me. he's crawling behind the rockers, under the pool table, under the jumperoo, into the closet... its crazy! but i think he'll be walking soon. he pulls himself up on everything and has, on several occasions, let go and stood there! WHOA! he also cruises from object to object. he'll stand holding onto the chair, then walk to the table leg and hold on there, then reach for the cabinet and hold on there, then walk to the fridge and reach then hold on there. :) he's all over the place :)

the time change thing kinda sucks. my day is ALL sideways *sigh* how long till caleb figures out that just because he thinks it's 8:00 doesnt mean it is! LOL :)
