all righty... well it seems that the last few nights around 4:00a (okay, mornings, not nights) ive ben hit with insomnia. i'll get up to pee and then be up until 6:30 or 7:00 and then hit the recliner for a nap that'll take me to 9:00 or 10:00. whats up with THAT?
i had my appt earlier this week... this was the first time i saw an actual "doctor" this pregnancy and she was really cool :) she checked calebs position - his head is very low in my pelvis (she grabbed it to show me - weird sensation) and his back is along the right wide with his butt up by my ribs. :) all in all, a GREAT position to get ready to come out that way - yay!
i mentioned the ligament pain i've been having since about 20 weeks and how its gotten a lot worse (there are days i can barely walk) and she said it was "normal". the ligament goes all the way around the uterus and ends basically in your labia... which is where it HURTS. she said because its stretched tight - any pressure from the baby could make it hurt, which explains why its not constant - the little booger keeps moving!
she also said that my swelling feet needed to be watched (my BP and urine look good - she doesnt suspect pre-e) and has taken me out of work! i wasnt prepared for that, my last day was planned for 5/25, so this is a week earlier than expected. but i'll take it! as you all know, work has been a drag for me lately and im DONE. so this at least gets me out of there and off my feet. it'll also help me rest my groin ligament so that hopefully on D-day its not painful (which could make pushing difficult)
on a happier note - i now have everything i need to have this guy! stroller(s), car seat, pack n play, bouncy seat, tons of clothes, monitor...what more do i need?? LOL the nursery is just about done... which is kinda fun and kinda freaky at he same time. when i look at the nursery i get chills thinking "he's going to be here soon!!" my dad is going to hang the shelves and his name this weekend - so i'll take pictures and post them early next week. also - on monday i'll be 36 weeks and can officially start to say "any day now!". thats my magic number, anything after 36 weeks wont be considered "early" and he'd be healthy... so yeah... only a few more days!! yay!!
