my PSA - extended rearfacing.
this is an email i sent out to my friends who are parents, who will be becoming parents, who will be getting a new niece/nephew/grandchild or who know people with kids... and i wanted to share it here as well.
hey guys :) i know ive sent this out before... but for most of us it was long before any of us needed it! i wanted to share this with the parents (and soon to be aunts and grandmas!) that i know so that when the time comes to change your child to forward facing, you'll have seen this and can decide for yourself whats best. i just wanted to make sure that this info was out there :)
this is a site about a little boy named joel - joel's journey and a link to a video his grandfather made: video on youtube
i cant stress how important i feel extended rearfacing is. caleb is a big boy - as all of you know! - and at almost 18 months, 33 inches and over 26 pounds... he is rearfacing. and if i can find a way to do it till he's in highschool, i will! LOL j/k (kinda!)
anyway, i know all of you will do what works best for your family, but i did want to put this out there in case you missed it before, or in case i didnt send it to you earlier.
take care - hugs to the little ones!!
