happy thanksgiving!

we took caleb to see santa last night! he did so incredibly well, it was amazing! he just sat there and stared at santa and didnt cry. but he wouldnt look at the camera... santa was just too darn interesting! :) we tried for several minutes to get him to look at the camera and the only time he did was when he turned to the camera and his face crumpled and the crocodile tears started. poor kid... and dont think i didnt want to buy that picture for the christmas cards! theres nothing cuter than a baby crying on santas lap :) oh well... next year!

today we are going to my grandmothers house for thnaksgiving, but not until later. caleband i get to spend the morning alone - yay!

we went to the movies for the first time yesterday... we saw "mr magoriums wonder emproium" - it was so cute! we did the parents movie morning thing at our local theater which was so awesome! :) they keep the lights on low, turn the volume down a tad and have a whole diaper changing station set up in the back so you dont have to miss a minute of the show. kids talk and babies cry and no one cares. i got to watch the whole movie and still interact with caleb. it was like watching a movie at home, but better! :) they do it every week, and i think we'll be there every week! i havent been to the movies in over a year, probably closer to two years... so this was nice! next week we get to see "enchanted" - hello mc dreamy!
