a girl!

my cousin T found out today that she is having a girl! :) so that'll be 3 boys and 2 girls this year... boy (caleb) in june, girl in july, boy in august, boy in october, girl in january. :)

this is the cousin that tried for over 7 years to get pregnant... they did IUIs, IVF... the whole shebang. they did everything. they finally decided that they couldnt afford it any more and went to do the foster/adopt program. the first children they got were a brother and sister and they were hooked! they got the kids 4 years ago and the adoption was final almost 2 years ago. the kids are now 5 and 6 years old... then a few months ago she called her sister (due in october) and was complaining about gagging on her toothbrush. my cousin C said "um. you should take a pregnancy test..." she did - it was DARK positive! she hadn't had a period in a few months (not uncommon for her) so she had no idea how far along she was!!

talk about a miracle! she conceived naturally and basically on "accident". they were not trying... they figured it couldnt happen since they tried so hard for so long. the baby is perfectly healthy and measuring right on target - and a girl! :)

im so incredibly happy for them - and now M (their 5 year old daughter) is over the moon because she gets to share her room with the baby LOL

anyway - just wanted to share that info here since i know that some of my friends have been following the crazyness that IS my family this year, when it comes to babies. :)
