waa hoo!! 10 weeks :)

caleb is a chatter box! he's found his "Guh" sound and his "ooooh" sound... when he does that he sounds like a hoot owl. he'll do one at a time - "ing-guh. ing-guh." then later he'll go "ooo-oh" too cute! and when he cries sometimes he goes "mmmmeh! mmmmeh!"

and he's found his hands! he'll chew on his fists and occasionally he'll be chewing on his fist and open his hand so his fingers are in his mouth and he'll look TOTALLY surprised. as if the hand didnt even belong to him! :) its so cute to see him noticing his hands, "oh hey wait... whats THAT?!"

he's also smiling and laughing up a storm - and he totally doesnt care who you are. strangers will look at him in the store and say "how old is your baby?" or "he's so cute" and he'll ham it up for them. its a riot - he's such a flirt. im gonna have to watch out for that! :)

i'll have to see if i can get a video of him "talking"... as soon as he sees the camera though, he clams up. *sigh* typical!

the heat has let up (thank GOD!) it was in the 90-100's here for about a week... wanna talk about miserable?? we'd literally break a sweat just changing his diaper. then dad gave in and bought a window a/c for his room (and my room and their room!) and we all slept better. heaven!! but now its down in the 70-80s during the day, and thats do-able. :)

all is well here - i hope everyone has made it through the heat of the summer and is getting ready for fall! :) i cant wait for halloween! we got caleb a costume - he's going to be a frog! i cant wait to post a picture. :)
