belly shot and nursery!
here are the pictures from today :) my belly shot (wearing the same clothes iw as wearing in the 16 week one) and the work we've done on the nursery this weekend.
when we started the walls were a deep plum color and the ceiling was lavendar - it had a big computer desk and all of my moms craft stuff (theres still some in the closet there) - but goodness! look at the changes we've made! we primed and painted the walls and ceiling, painted the crown molding... then we moved in the dresser/changing table and crib and set that up and also moved in the futon from the room that will be mine so my parents have somewhere to sleep when my grandma has her surgery done next month. :)
we hung the valance and would have done the wall paper border - but apparently you have to let fresh paint dry for 72 hours before you put it up... so we'll do that next weekend. its the zanzibar print from kidsline at BRU. :)
we put the crib together and i just about lost my breath - IM REALLY HAVING A BABY!!!
oh, and tonight i was kicking back in the recliner (i couldnt help move the futon) and caleb was kicking up a storm and i saw my tummymove once or twice when he gave me a good one :) that was exciting! i was waiting for him to do it again so i could show mom and dad, but it was back to work with me. i'll check it out again tonight when he's active around 9:30.
but anyway - that was my weekend! now im ready for a REAL "weekend" :)

The nursery is looking really cute!!!! So is that at your new place, are you moving?
meg - im moving back home with mom and dad *gasp* *thud* i never thought that'd happen... but they insisted. and financially its the best thing (i'll be saving almost $1,000 a month in rent) with the housing market he way it is in socal... if i live at home for a year and bank my money i should be able to make a dent in buying a place of my own. :)
oh. and free day care :)

Hey you! Very cute valance... I love the colors.. funny.. that was one of the ones I was LOVING. LOL.

amy, look at you! WOW!!! The nursery is looking so nice & I love the 23 week side shot. I had to look back at 16 weeks to compare & WOW!!! Awesome....it is so nice to be able to share in your joy.
